VÉlo Des Fleurs
Join us as we ride with Bike Baton Rouge and start your Earth Day weekend off right. We'll take a leisurely ride around the LSU Lakes and adjacent areas to see spring wildflowers in bloom. The ride will start and end at Tennis Courts entrance at City Park and runs from 9-11 AM. Bring your bike, helmet, and a picnic lunch to enjoy after the ride!
About: Velo des Fleurs is an urban bike tour meant to encourage knowledge and appreciation of wildflowers and other native plants in the open spaces around Baton Rouge. Additionally, Velo Fleur seeks to bring awareness to the need for the restoration of natural spaces and the bike and footpaths necessary to enjoy them safely. Please contact the Capital Area Native Plant Society at canpsbr [at] gmail [dot] com for more information! |
