Meetings

CANPS hosts occasional guest speakers and workshops at the LSU AgCenter Burden Botanical Gardens.  Burden is also our hub for future demonstration gardens, ecological restoration and hiking opportunities. We look forward to the many opportunities to share our passion with the many other horticultural societies at Burden.

We also meet for our Leadership Meetings which take place on the second floor of the Main Branch Library on Goodwood in room 2D from 6:30 - 8:00 PM
on the first Wednesday of each month.

We also host or co-sponsor monthly field trips or other events. Please make sure to check the calendar by clicking here.

Also check our calendar for quarterly meetings. Our quarterly meetings are generally formatted as follows:

1:30 to 2:00 Seed sharing social, refreshments
2:00 pm  Guest speaker, workshop or demonstration
4:00 pm Propagation Work Session
